This series of disciple-making guides are designed to help you in your journey of making devoted followers of Jesus, but they are not the only ingredient. Spend time asking questions about everyday life, giving feedback, and listening well. Share stories from your own life in the process. Help your discipleship partner get plugged into a good local church and encourage them to serve all those around them. When they sin, help them find forgiveness and healing. When they do well, encourage them, and spur them on to greater works. Above all, pray for them much, and be a good example and a friend.

Welcome to the course on Cultivating the Presence of God. The goals of this course are to help you increase in relationship and intimacy with God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus; increase your passion for seeing the world transformed and redeemed; teach on how to have access to supernatural resources; help you see the Kingdom more evident in your lifestyle; and support a connection to the ekklesia.
The course has 8 lessons with a video and short quiz after each lesson to help you process the truths taught.
1. Before you begin, make sure you download the manual in the Lesson 1 Introduction section.
2. Take a moment to pray before you begin Lesson 1. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart for what He has for you. We believe you will not only be gaining knowledge as you study this course, but you will also receive a heart transformation.
3. Are you ready? Have you prayed for an open heart? Don’t forget to download the manual from the Lesson 1 Introduction page before you start the course.
Your instructors for this course:
Callie Boyd is the wife of Randy Boyd, the Executive Director of Prepare International. Callie is the ‘mom’ of PI as well as the Family and Prayer Director. She teaches using stories, experiences and humor to unfold scripture as she imparts the Kingdom. She graduated TTU with a specialization in Child Development and has since ministered as a children’s pastor, been a teacher, developed the PrayGroud curriculum and raised three children that are passionate about Jesus.
Drew Brown is the PI School Coordinator. He has worked full-time with PI since 2005 and has developed many of the courses alongside Randy. Drew is a wonderful teacher who will help stretch what you know in order to grasp what God has for you within your Kingdom influence.
Ryan Harris is the Latin America and US Regional Director based in Texas. He trains and equips PI partners in his regions to advance the Kingdom and multiply leaders.
Hannah Dockery is the Home Base Director located in Texas. She is the daughter of Randy and Callie Boyd, executive directors of PI. She has been part of Prepare International since it’s conception in 2001 and has been on staff since 2019.
