Course Overview:
This course is designed to take an in-depth look at the theme of grace and favor throughout the Bible. Grace cannot be studied as merely one of the themes of Scripture but as the very atmosphere and context that the whole Bible must be read through. In this course, we hope to alter your thinking about who God is, what He is like, how He looks at you, and how, therefore, you should live.
Course Goals:
Upon completion of this course, we would like you to:
- understand the vast concepts and ideas about God’s grace and favor;
- realize that life cannot be mixed with both Law and grace;
- understand the different areas of life the grace of God should flow into and touch;
- develop a favored mentality with God and man; and
- begin to reach out in greater ways to the Lord for His promises of grace.
The instructors for this course:
Randy Boyd is the Executive Director of PI. He has worked around the world developing leaders for the past 20 years and has a unique ability to bring the scriptures to life by make them applicable to everyday life. Randy is a wonderful teacher who will bring new life to your study.
Callie Boyd is the wife of Randy Boyd, the Executive Director of Prepare International. Callie is the ‘mom’ of PI as well as the Family and Prayer Director. She teaches using stories, experiences and humor to unfold scripture as she imparts the Kingdom. She graduated TTU with a specialization in Child Development and has since ministered as a children’s pastor, been a teacher, developed the PrayGroud curriculum and raised three children that are passionate about Jesus.
Josiah Boyd is the Communications and Central European Director for PI. Josiah and his wife, Brandi, live in Poland. Josiah is the son of Randy and Callie and has been working with his father for many years as well as within a church setting. Josiah is an amazing teacher who brings new perspectives to this course.
