Principles of Leadership

Welcome to the course on the Principles of Leadership. This course is designed to introduce you to some principles of leadership, including:

• a practical definition of leadership.
• how to grow as a leader.
• the character of a leader.
• the function of vision in leadership.
• the role of teamwork in leadership.

The course has 10 lessons with a video and short quiz after each lesson to help you process the truths taught.

1. Before you begin, make sure you download the manual in the Lesson 1 Introduction section.

2. Take a moment to pray before you begin Lesson 1. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart for what He has for you. We believe you will not only be gaining knowledge as you study this course, but you will also receive a heart transformation. 

3. Are you ready? Have you prayed for an open heart? Don’t forget to download the manual from the Lesson 1 Introduction page before you start the course.

Your instructors for this course:

Randy Boyd is the Executive Director of PI. He has worked around the world developing leaders for the past 20 years and has a unique ability to bring the scriptures to life by make them applicable to everyday life. Randy is a wonderful teacher who will bring new life to your scriptural studies. 

Josiah Boyd is the Communications and Central European Director for PI. Josiah and his wife, Brandi, live in Poland. Josiah is the son of Randy and Callie and has been working with his father for many years as well as within a church setting. Josiah is an amazing teacher who brings new perspectives to this course.

Hannah Dockery is the Home Base Director located in Texas. She is the daughter of Randy and Callie Boyd, executive directors of PI. She has been part of Prepare International since it’s conception in 2001 and has been on staff since 2019.

Ryan Harris is the Latin America and US Regional Director based in Texas. He trains and equips PI partners in his regions to advance the Kingdom and multiply leaders.
